Notifications Settings

Notification settings in StepSecurity allow you to receive alerts about essential security events via email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams. Notifications help you stay informed about security incidents or anomalies in real-time, enabling quick responses to potential risks.

In the settings, users can define which events to be notified about and customize multiple notification channels if desired.

Configure Notification Settings in StepSecurity

1. Navigate to the Settings page on the dashboard.

2. Click "Notification Settings".

3. Click the "Email" field to input the email to receive notifications on.

4. Click the "Slack Webhook URL" field to include a Slack webhook URL for notifications.

5. Click the "Teams Webhook URL" field to include a Teams webhook URL for notifications.

6. Proceed to select events to be notified about.

7. Click the "SAVE" button to save the notification settings.

Note

It is important to note that only one notification channel is required when configuring the settings. However, you can configure more channels to receive notifications.
