With StepSecurity, you get real-time security alerts for runtime detections, keeping you informed about potential threats as they happen.

To prevent alert fatigue, StepSecurity ensures that each notification is sent only once. These notifications apply across all repositories in your GitHub organization, helping you maintain visibility into security events without overwhelming your team.

Configuring Notification Preferences

Follow these steps to set up and customize security notifications in StepSecurity:

1. Navigate to your dashboard and click Settings.

1. In the Organization Settings panel, select Notifications and add your preferred notification channels:

• Email

• Slack Webhook URL

• Microsoft Teams Webhook URL

Also select the security events you want to be notified about.

4. Click Save to apply your notification settings.
